What do the individual categories mean?
At ITzoo.sk, we categorize the condition of our products based on standard levels of wear and adjust their prices accordingly. The levels of wear are divided into three categories – however, wear is reflected exclusively in the visual appearance.
But what exactly does “wear” mean?
Wear refers to visual imperfections caused by previous use. This is a normal type of wear and tear. In the table below, you’ll find the most common types of wear and the categories in which they may occur.

Touchpad wear
The image shows a comparison between Category A and Category B. The touchpad displays signs of frequent use. Its surface becomes smoother and glossier over time. This type of wear does not affect the device’s functionality.

Display wear
The image compares Category A with Category B. Minor scratches, bright spots, or keyboard imprints are typical signs of long-term device use. This type of wear does not affect the device’s functionality.

Body or chassis wear
The image shows the most common types of wear found on the body or chassis (frame or housing) of the device. This purely visual wear is typically caused by handling or contact with other objects during transport—for example, when carried in a bag or backpack.
